Connect to your Microsoft SQL Server on a Mac without emulation

Install the Oracle SQL Developer software
Download the MySQL jdbc driver
Start the Oracle SQL Developer Software 
go to tools -> preferences -> Databases -> 3rd party JDBC drivers
 and add the downloaded driver in the list

Create a new connection in the main window, and you'll see a tab with SQLServer

Done!
